Most mornings I usually check to see what the groupon deal of the day is. Last week I saw a great special for a-hundred dollar-valued car detail and wash at Genie Car Wash for the savvy price of forty bucks. With both my and Chris’ cars way past their cleaning due date, I grabbed two of this sweet deal to spoil both our well-loved and well-lived-in vehicles to a day of deep cleansing rejuvenation.

We chose to use our groupons at the Genie Car Wash on South Lamar this past Monday. They have several other locations around town as well. When we walked in to turn in our groupon, the cashier laughed, as over twenty eight hundred people purchased the deal! Despite its recent surge in popularity, we experienced no wait and swiftly turned our keys over to the experts. The whole detail process takes about forty five minutes, so with a little time on our hands we decided to hop across the street to Maudie’s. In between meal times, we decided to just order Mexican Martinis, which their version proved to be smooth, tasty, and not too sweet. With the tequila shaking and conversation flowing, the time passed quickly and it was back to the land of the Genie.

When we returned to our cars, we couldn’t help but marvel at their newfound exceptional beauty. My truest wish had been granted! Both the interior and exterior shined and glistened from their makeover transformation. I couldn’t believe how clean our carpets were – Chris had even recently spilt beet juice all over his seat (because I didn’t screw the lid on his container very well – my fault not his!), and Genie Car Wash removed the stain like magic! All the little crevices where dirt seems to collect had somehow become clean and fresh looking, almost as if they’d never seen a day of dirt in their entire existences. This is the place of second chances for cars.

Even though we used a sixty percent off coupon, this place treated us with the same quality of care as a full paying customer. After seeing the results and comparing to other car wash experiences I’ve had, I know that when my car needs another intensive scrub down, I’m taking it to Genie Car Wash, where your wish is their command!
