“The Legend of El Limbo” premieres at the Austin Film Festival this weekend

Shannon received an e-mail from one of our blog readers, Michael Suter, who directed a funny short film that’ll be premiering at the Austin Film Festival this weekend.  Given that we’re now members of the press, we got a sneak preview of the short film, “The Legend of El Limbo,” and we enjoyed it.  The film spoofs the development of the popular game, limbo, with some dark comedy blended in.  I found myself laughing aloud several times.

“The Legend of El Limbo” will be screening with Dax Sheppard’s feature-length comedy, Brother’s Justice, which stars Sheppard, Bradley Cooper (The Hangover), and Tom Arnold.  The first screening will be held this Saturday, Oct. 23, at 9:30 pm at the Paramount Theatre.  The second screening occurs on Tuesday, Oct. 26, at 10:00 pm at the Alamo Drafthouse Lake Creek.

  1. Thanks for the kind words, Shannon! We’re now premiering at THE PARAMOUNT THEATER on Saturday 10/23 at 9:30pm with the World Premiere of “Brother’s Justice” Dax and Tom Arnold will definitely be there. So, no longer screening at the Austin Convention Center at 7:15pm. 10/23 Paramount Theater, 9:30! It’s going to be a blast!
