    Hi Shannon,

I can’t find a better way to get a hold of you via email on your site so I hope this reaches you. I recently moved to Austin and I’ve been following your blog since the beginning. I think it’s fantastic that you write the blog as a couple. It’s very encouraging for me and my husband.

Any way the reason I’m writing is to invite you to an event. Given your passion for Austin and the community I thought you might be interested – plus I know that the info presented at the event will be useful and beneficial.

I’d love to give you all the details so let me know the best way of getting in touch with you. My email is cassieleighl@gmail.com. Hope to hear from you soon and thanks for your posts.

By the way – do you know of a good way to get rid of ants as well as fruit flies? That’s what I contend with and it’s not getting better.

    Thanks,
    Cassie

  6. Hi Shannon and Chris,

I’ve been following your blog, In Between, and I think it is great. I love how you talk about things to do in Austin, which is why I thought I’d pass some information along about a great local deal that is running today on http://www.eversave.com/austin. The deal is for two private horseback riding lessons for $49, which is regularly priced at $130. That’s 62% in savings!

One of the things that make this deal so special is that 10% of the proceeds benefit the Austin chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. If you would be kind enough to help pass this information along by posting about it on your blog (and possibly Twitter and Facebook), I’d greatly appreciate it. The deal is only running today and tomorrow, so if you could blog/post/tweet about it as soon as possible, that would be incredible. Thanks for all of your support!

    Best,
    Esther

  7. Thought I’d reach out to you guys again and let you know that today we are featuring an awesome deal for Eversave members to pay just $10 for four admissions to the Austin Museum of Art ($20 value). We also have a bonus Save for 54% off your choice of massage, where proceeds benefit Hope & Love 4 Kids, a TX-based children’s charity. If you’d like to check it out, you can visit http://www.eversave.com/austin. Thanks again! :)

  8. Shannon, I stopped by today for two reasons. One is to say Happy New Year! The second, to thank you once again for allowing me to feature your poetry on my site. It’s been four months since I first started Poetic License and it is time to feature all four months together in one post.

Please stop by once again on January 3rd to see the eight new poems and to see the Tri-annual magazine with your poem featured once again. I hope you like it. Thanks again.
